Fitness Unleashed is back for 2019! OakFit and the Animal Shelter & Pet Adoption Center are offering the lunchtime dog walking program to Oakland County Employees this summer.

Come out on your lunch break and walk a dog. Dog walking is a great way to get in exercise!

  • Getting 30 minutes of activity every day is a substantial way to prevent heart disease.
  • Taking a shelter dog for a walk also strengthens your bones and helps to prevent osteoporosis.
  • Dog walking helps keep the pets exercised and socialized, key when going to loving homes.
  • Make one of our shelter dogs your work out buddy and you both reap the benefits.
